Lloyd Axworthy is president and vice-chancellor of the University of Winnipeg.He was Canada’s foreign minister from 1995 to 2000. For his leadership on the landmark global treaty banning anti-personnel landmines, he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Lloyd Axworthy has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and honours, including the Order of Canada.
