I am going to go a bit deeper exploring the specifics of the supposed benefits of gaming as they relate to learning. Within this I’m going to put a microscope over some of the gaming world’s central claims. I’m going to start with a challenge. I’m going to confront head on what I perceive as the growing Pollyanna perspective of gaming: contesting not only that gaming is all good — but that gaming is a source of strength and potentially a solution to all that ails us.
