Sarah Ghabrial is a doctoral candidate in History at McGill University, Montreal, where she pursues interests in colonialism, pluralism, and citizenship. Her thesis deals with nineteenth-century legal pluralism in French Algeria. Sarah is a founding member of The Miss G Project for Equity in Education, a grassroots collective advocating for gender studies curricula at the secondary school level in Ontario.
