Scott Sinclair

Scott Sinclair is a senior researcher with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, where he coordinates the Centre’s Trade and Investment Research Project. From 1994 to 1999 he was a senior trade policy advisor to the government of British Columbia. He is an internationally respected authority on trade and investment agreements. He has written extensively on the health policy implications of trade treaties including: Putting Health First: Canadian Health Care Reform,Trade Treaties and Foreign Policy (co-authored with Matthew Sanger) which was prepared for the Romanow Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada; and Bad Medicine: Trade Treaties, Privatisation and Health Care Reform in Canada (co-authored with Jim Grieshaber-Otto).
