Nettie Wiebe

Nettie Wiebe farms near Delisle, Saskatchewan. Nettie served in elected leadership positions of the NFU for ten years and was the first woman to lead a national farm organization in Canada. Nettie has played a leadership role in La Vía Campesina as a member of the International Coordinating Committee from 1996 to 2004. She recently retired from teaching ethics at St. Andrews College, University of Saskatchewan.
