Take Commoning to Scale
From: Free, Fair and Alive
$3.00
The final chapter addresses how commons can be scaled up, and why it is important to believe that commons have a significant contribution to make toward global change. The authors introduce the idea of social or community charters which state how a commons intends to govern itself. They examine the role of distributed ledgers such as blockchain as platforms for commoning, and take in-depth look at how the software platform Holochain helps people to articulate value that emerges from commons. Then they look at commons-public partnerships and new organizational models before concluding the book.
