Janet Hammock

Janet Hammock is a Vancouver-born concert pianist who holds both Master and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Yale University. She was a professor of music for thirty-one years, first at Whittier College in California, and then at Mount Allison University where, after retirement, she was appointed Professor Emeritus of Music. Recently, Janet returned to creative writing, something she has enjoyed since childhood. She and her partner live in Sackville, New Brunswick, with Loofa, their sixteen-year-old cat.
