The monumental incapacity of mainstream organs of knowledge production to offer anything close to a sustained pattern of critical self-reflection means that such efforts fall to alternative entities, like Canadian Dimension. What follows, is an effort to evaluate how well the magazine has done this job, with a particular focus on its coverage of urban issues.
