David Hugill is an urban researcher and postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Geography at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. He is the author of Missing Women, Missing News: Covering Crisis in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and has been a member of Canadian Dimension’s editorial collective since 2011.
