Pat Kelln
Pat Kelln was a well-known advocate in the British Columiba anti-violence and disabled women's communities. She was the spokesperson for Pacific DAWN (Disabled Women's Network) and founder of the Vancouver Shoe Memorial, an annual public display designed to bring awareness to the issue of murdered women. Pat died in January 2017 - this chapter was her last project.
Stephanie Parent
Stephanie Parent has a Master's of Public Health from Simon Fraser University and has worked in the health care sector for the past decade. She worked with Pat Kelln to help Pacific DAWN implement the “What Women Want” survey.
