Miles Morrisseau (Métis Nation) graduated from the Program in Journalism for Native People at Western University in 1986. He was the National Native Affairs Broadcaster for CBC Radio and covered historic events, including the Oka Crisis and Elijah Harper’s defeat of the Meech Lake Accord. He was editor in chief of Indian Country Today, the largest Native American newspaper in the U.S. He is currently special correspondent for ICTnews.
