John W. Warnock is retired from teaching sociology and political economy at the University of Regina. He is the author of a number of books, including The Politics of Hunger, Free Trade and the New Right Agenda, The Other Mexico, Saskatchewan: The Roots of Discontent and Protest and Creating a Failed State: The US and Canada in Afghanistan. He has a special interest in farming and resource industries and is the author of Selling the Family Silver: The Oil Industry in Saskatchewan. He lives on a farm near Bulyea, Saskatchewan.
