Alexandre Larouche-Maltais
ALEXANDRE LAROUCHE-MALTAIS holds a BA in international relations and international law from the University of Quebec in Montreal, as well as a master's degree in international law from the Graduate Institute in Geneva. As former International Trade and Legal Affairs Consultant within the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Alexandre was involved in a trade-related technical assistance program for implementing the World Trade Organization's (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement in developing and least-developed countries since 2015. Prior to joining UNCTAD, he worked within the Africa office and the trade facilitation and policy for business section of the International Trade Centre (ITC) in Geneva. From 2010 to 2015, Alexandre worked as a research project manager for l'Institut de recherche en économie contemporaine (IREC) on international trade issues.
